Founded in 1933, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons is the preeminent provider of musculoskeletal education to orthopedic surgeons and others in the world. Its continuing medical education activities include a world-renowned Annual Meeting, multiple continuing medical education (CME) courses, and various medical and scientific publications and electronic media materials.
The AAOS had outgrown its current system for planning, managing, and coordinating their educational offerings. They needed a comprehensive PPM tool that incorporated resource capacity planning, financial planning, and reporting for a total PPM solution.
OnePlan was able to implement a solution by utilizing Microsoft Project, Power BI, and OnePlan to create a solution that achieved the AAOS’s goal of better resource management and reporting paired with a detailed and accessible financial planning interface.
