OnePlan has achieved “FedRAMP High, Class D certification, a security and compliance standard required by many federal agencies and a bar that relatively few software vendors have cleared. We completed this process in partnership with Project Hosts, a cloud services provider with deep experience in government-compliant infrastructure.

FedRAMP, the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, establishes a standardized approach for assessing and authorizing cloud software used across the U.S. federal government. The High designation applies to systems that handle the most sensitive unclassified data, including information where a security breach could have severe consequences. Reaching this level means OnePlan has been evaluated against a demanding set of controls covering data protection, access management, incident response, and more.

For federal agencies and other highly regulated organizations, that evaluation changes what is possible. Rather than building workarounds or settling for tools that approximate compliance, teams can now run OnePlan in a certified environment and focus on the work itself.

What does this mean for portfolio and project management in government?

Government programs are often among the most complex environments in portfolio management. Work spans multiple agencies, contractors, and oversight bodies. Requirements around auditability and data handling are strict. And the cost of a broken process, or a broken tool, is measured in mission impact, not just budget.

OnePlan is built to handle that scale. It gives organizations a single place to manage projects, resources, and portfolio decisions across large, distributed teams. With Project Hosts providing the compliant cloud foundation, agencies can now operate that environment inside infrastructure that meets federal security requirements without sacrificing the planning capabilities they need.

This matters beyond the federal sector as well. Defense contractors, regulated healthcare organizations, and other entities that follow government security standards now have a clearer path to using OnePlan in their environments.

The role of Project Hosts

Project Hosts specializes in hosting Microsoft-based platforms for government and regulated industries. Their experience navigating the FedRAMP certification process was a meaningful part of reaching this milestone. The partnership reflects a straightforward idea: the right infrastructure partner makes rigorous compliance achievable without slowing down the product.

For customers, the practical result is that the security posture backing your OnePlan environment has now been independently verified at the highest applicable level.

On the pathway to full certification

FedRAMP High (Class D) is where we are today. A dedicated IL5 environment is being prepared for future DoD deployments and progressing toward operational certification. If you work in or alongside the federal government and have been watching whether OnePlan would meet your security requirements, the answer has changed. You can learn more here.
