Empower EU 2026 brought together OnePlan customers, partners, and project and portfolio management leaders from across Europe for two days of learning, collaboration, and shared experiences in London.
From strategic discussions and customer-led presentations to hands-on training and networking, the event focused on a common goal: helping organizations make better portfolio decisions, improve resource planning, and get more value from the work they deliver.
Looking Ahead Together
The event opened with a keynote from Scott Hebert, CEO of OnePlan, and Michael Stelmakh, VP of Customer Success, who shared OnePlan’s product vision and roadmap. Discussions centered on how AI, portfolio intelligence, and modern strategic portfolio management are helping organizations connect long-term strategy with day-to-day execution.
Throughout the event, attendees had opportunities to ask questions, exchange ideas, and discuss how these innovations translate into practical outcomes within their own organizations.
Learning from Customers
One of the highlights of Empower EU was hearing directly from customers who are continuing to expand and mature their use of OnePlan.
Manuel Schneider from Everllence shared how the organization has strengthened transparency and collaboration through its OnePlan implementation.
Simone Battaglia, Senior Manager, PMO at DiaSorin, discussed the evolution of portfolio management within a global organization and the role of governance in supporting strategic decision-making.
Diego Robino, Digital Projects Manager at Wingd, shared lessons from managing digital transformation initiatives and adapting project delivery to changing business needs.
Across all three presentations, a common theme emerged: successful organizations continue evolving long after implementation. Rather than viewing OnePlan as simply a project management platform, they are expanding adoption across teams, improving visibility, and using portfolio insights to guide business decisions.
Practical Training for Real-World Challenges
The training sessions focused on the everyday challenges project and portfolio teams face, including resource planning, financial management, portfolio modeling, reporting, agile delivery, AI, and project migration.
Rather than simply demonstrating product features, each session encouraged attendees to work through practical scenarios, discuss approaches with peers, and explore how they could apply new ideas within their own organizations.
The collaborative format led to highly engaged discussions, with participants actively sharing experiences and learning from one another throughout the event.
The Conversations That Continued Beyond the Sessions
Several themes surfaced repeatedly throughout both formal sessions and informal conversations.
Resource planning was consistently identified as one of the biggest challenges organizations are facing today, with many attendees discussing how capacity constraints are becoming a key factor in strategic planning and prioritization.
AI also generated significant interest as customers explored practical ways it can support decision-making, reporting, and portfolio management. Sessions around portfolio modeling and financial management similarly sparked conversations about evaluating trade-offs, prioritizing investments, and planning with greater confidence.
Beyond individual topics, attendees frequently discussed how they’re expanding OnePlan beyond traditional project tracking to create greater organizational visibility, centralize information, and support more strategic ways of working.
The Value of Learning Together
One of the strongest takeaways from Empower EU wasn’t tied to a particular session—it was the opportunity to connect.
Customers, partners, and the OnePlan team spent two days exchanging ideas, comparing approaches, and learning how other organizations are solving similar challenges. Conversations naturally continued during breaks, lunches, and evening networking, creating opportunities for peer learning that are difficult to replicate in virtual settings.
Many attendees commented on the value of stepping away from their daily responsibilities to think more strategically about the future of their organizations and how they can continue growing their use of OnePlan.
Thank You, London
Empower EU 2026 showcased what makes the OnePlan community special: a willingness to share knowledge, learn from one another, and continuously improve.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in London, presented their experiences, participated in the discussions, and helped make the event such a success.
We’re excited to continue the conversations and look forward to welcoming the community again at future Empower events.
